More Market-Meddling Spend-and-Spend Republicans

And for his next trick, King George The Second of the Royal Bush Blood Line is pronouncing tomorrow his new Communist Central Government Inspired "WE WANNA BE MORE LIKE CHINA" Planned Market Freeze Act of 2007. Yep, an Executive Decree to freeze adjustable mortgage rates for FIVE YEARS.

So now, after pillaging the National Reserves that Bill Clinton built up to the first SURPLUS in decades, these Big Government Republican "SPEND and SPENDERS" not only burned all that up Ten Times Over, but they now don't even trust their supposed savior, The Unfettered Free Market.

Don't worry folks, the Big Government Republicans are here to bail out the stupid, the gullible, and most of all their own UNSCRUPULOUS CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTORS who took advantage of all those people to make those bad loans in the first place.

Just brilliant. So let's see, is it more fiscally, morally, and ethically consistent to Collect a Paycheck THEN Spend, or to Stack up on Credit cards, then get more Credit Cards to pay off those Credit Cards? Hmmmm....

If you believe collecting a paycheck FIRST is the only morally and ethically sustainable and defensible fiscal philosophy, then you MUST support "TAX and SPEND" and you MUST reject, "SPEND and SPEND." Right? :-)

Freaking Republicans and their constant micromanagement of the Free Market, right? So here's the REAL Republican platform for the early 21st century.

As Republicans, we don't just BELIEVE in these values, we DO THEM, each and every day:

  • Spend and spend, and globally over-extend Big Government on an exponential scale.
  • Because we are Big Government, we get to Spend and Spend with accountability to no one.
  • Attack all Fiscally Conservative "Pay as you Go" policies as hostile to fiscal conservatism.

Read all about it in the attached Wall Street Journal article, "A widespread mortgage-relief plan is set to be unveiled tomorrow by President Bush, welcome news to many, though believers in the virtues of the invisible hand may wince."

And remember, a day without Sparring is like a Day without Sunshine. :-)
